14 Jan Report: Kurz sacked by Melbourne Victory
Melbourne Victory have parted ways with head coach Marco Kurz.
The Herald Sun’s David Davutovic is reporting that the A-League club has sacked the German after just 13 games in charge.
The Victory have struggled under former Adelaide United coach Kurz since he took over at the beginning of the campaign, battling to a record of four wins, three draws and six defeats to sit sixth on the table.
It is suggested that the red card Kurz received in Sunday’s stoppage time defeat to the Central Coast Mariners was the “tipping point” for the decision.
Fox Football’s Daniel Garb has also indicated that Kurz’s tenure with the Victory has come to an end.
