All square at Suncorp between Roar and Mariners

Brisbane Roar and Central Coast Mariners are both still winless so far this season after a nil all draw at Full Time at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Roar had the bulk of opportunity heading into the first half with Massimo Maccarone and Eric Bautheac who tried to get the home side on the scoreboard early.

Mariners had a chance late through Jake McGing from a set piece free kick, with both the Roar and Mariners still deadlocked 0-0 at the end of 45.

Second half saw the Mariners begin the pressure through the flanks and inside the midfield, with Danny De Silva wreaking havoc for the Mariners.

Brisbane brought on Corey Gameiro who returned for the Roar after 4 years out with 3 knee reconstructions, and massive cheer from the Roar faithful.

Both teams created their chances late, but nobody could break the deadlock at the end and the game finished 0-0 with both sides still trying to find their first win of the season.
