11 Nov Victory and Roar remain Winless
Melbourne Victory and Brisbane Roar have both played out a 1-1 draw at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night, with both sides still remain winless after six rounds.
In a scrappy first half from both sides, the possession was being played in the middle of the park as both sides struggled to get a shot on target.
First opportunity was there for Victory halfway through the first half of the contest from a Rhys Williams header going wide off a Leroy George corner.
Nick D’Agostino and Eric Bautheac both had opportunities down the other end for the Roar, but couldn’t get it past Lawrence Thomas.
Victory introduced 17 Year Old Christian Theoharous who is a Victory youth academy player, and was influential in the Besart Berisha goal that put Victory in front 79 minutes into the game.
