Drogba, Trezeguet, Yorke headline host of stars in Football For Fires fundraiser

A host of stars have agreed to play in a charity football match designed to help those affected by the devastating Australian bushfires.

Chelsea legend Didier Drogba, French World Cup winner and European champion David Trezeguet and ex-Manchester United star Dwight Yorke headline a slew of former players pulling on the boots on May 23.

Fellow ex-Red Devil Park Ji-sung and former Juventus and Italian midfielder Claudio Marchisio will also travel to Australia to take part.

Drogba, 41, won four Premier League titles and a Champions League crown with the Blues, scoring 164 goals in 381 games over two spells. The Ivorian striker last played for MLS side Phoenix Rising in 2018.
